The Department of Planning and Development is reviewing the City's future Land Use
Plan in the area east of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and I-530. A copy of the
current Land Use Plan map is located on the City's website — www.iittlerock. ov. Go to
`City Departments' then click on `Planning and Development' link, once on the page
scroll down to the MAPS section, select the map; under Planning & Development
section, select the Land Use viewer. This link will take you to an interactive Land Use
Plan Map.
As a representative of this community, we would like to know you and your
organization's opinions about possible changes to the Land Use Plan. Are there areas
you feel should be changed and if so to what? Is there a need for more office or
commercial use for future development, etc.? Enclosed is a pamphlet about the future
Land Use Plan and a list of the Land Use categories with definitions for your information
and use.
Please contact us indicating your suggestions for the staff review of this area, prior to
Friday, April 27, 2018. After this date a package of potential changes will be generated
to help update the Land Use Plan. If you have any questions, please contact Walter
