Please find attached an Application for Land Use Amendment on a 6.653 -acre parcel at 25914
Hwy 10 owned by John and Melba Presley.
The owners of the property wish to expand the existing 1 -story metal office/warehouse building
on the east side by 30 feet and to continue with the existing operations currently being conducted
on this property. Attached you will find a Survey, Site Plan and Information Sheet requesting
future uses of the Amendment.
Currently this property consists of a 5,000 sq. ft. metal building housing a computer sales and
service and two construction companies. The area behind is used for storage of construction
equipment and building supplies, RV, small utility trailer, boat and miscellaneous storage. There
are three residential mobile homes and 3 portable storage units on the east side of the property.
The one next to Hwy 10 is home and sales office for an elderly man who sells cars, utility
trailers, yard sale and miscellaneous articles.
The intent of this application is to amend the zoning of the property from residential to
commercial. The owners would like to expand the existing building, and secure the proposed
uses addressed in the information sheet for any future improvements to the property.
