The investigation case file is always left open unless an arrest is made. With the case file being left open it allows our
department to continue gathering information and follow up on any substantive leads. If you have other questions feel
free to give me a call. 501-247-6614

Has your investigation concluded at 1419 Commerce Street? I have been told it has continued to fall in upon itself.

Mr. Thomas, the owner of 1419 S Commerce, came in to see me today. As you know, that house burned this weekend.
He I willing to demolish the house, but wants to wait on the investigation of the fire by your department. Could you
keep me in the loop as to when the investigation is complete? From a health and safety aspect, it needs to be
demolished very shortly after your investigation is over.
Thank you,
Brian Minyard

been vacant for about 20 years each and have been on our radar for that long. In an effort to get the owners motivated
to sell or rehab, they went before the HDC in 2018-2019. This set of minutes have been attached.
