Alex,
Good afternoon. We would like to officially withdraw our application without prejudice so that we can regroup, redesign,
and refile a new application in the coming months.
Thank you!

Not a problem.
I’m also learning while doing.
Next project—reach out to us and we’ll have a pre-submittal meeting to get as many questions answered
as we can to iron out some wrinkles before submitting to make it easier for all of us.
I’ll look forward to hearing from you with a status update.

Alex,
I appreciate all your help. I am meeting with Owner this afternoon to figure out our best path forward. It
will likely be a withdrawal so that we can refile once everything has been designed and meets with all
requirements. I apologize for the back and forth. Had I known this property was outside the City and with
so many limiting restrictions I never would have filed so early in the first place.
Thank you.

A deferral will require a waiver of the by-laws, as this would be the third.
A withdrawal without prejudice would allow for the item to be refiled without having to wait
a year.

OK. I am also scheduling a meeting with the Client on Monday to see if we can squeeze
down the building to provide the proper parking.
Can you tell me the procedure and any penalties if we either defer or withdraw the
application to file again at a later date?
Thank you!

I don’t feel it is likely you’d get staff support for a parking variance without
any agreement with any of the property owners abutting agreeing to
shared parking.

Alex,
Thank you. Would we be able to request a variance for parking
requirements? If so, would it be likely? With all of the planned
developments in the area parking is not likely to be in short supply.
Thank you!
