Dear Ms. Satterfield:
As you know, the Arkansas Fund for Veterans is interested in
purchasing the East Junior High School building at 14th and
Scott. Paul Howell, our President, has spoken with you about
this ;property, and forwarded the Certificate of Appropriateness
and Design Review Guidelines to me.
This letter is to inform you of our intent to purchase this
building. I wish to assure you that we plan to make no
structural changes to the outside of the building. Furthermore,
there will be no demolition on the building. We plan to have
strict security, consisting of trained clients for internal
security; and our staff and on occasion VA staff and/or Little
Rock Police for external security.
Enclosed is our project's pre -proposal and related materials for
your review. If there is anything else we need to do, or if you
have additional questions about our project, please give me a
call at 224-6218. Thank you.
