Project Description with Conditions listed:
1) Roofing
a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing and/or additional layers of roofing materials.
b) Repair decking with boards of same thickness, (plywood, chipboard, or 1 x boards for decking.)
c) Flashing will be replaced as may be necessary or required. Galvanized flashing will be used
unless copper flashing is currently used. The flashing underlayment on the front porch will be
properly tucked under the clapboards. The nails will be compatible with the flashing material.
d) Install 30 Ib tar paper will be used
e) Drip edge may be installed. Paint exposed edge to match fascia.
f) Gutters may be removed and replaced if necessary for roof installation. No additional gutters
may be installed at this time.
g) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys.
h) Reroof with Tamko Architectural Shingles in Rustic Black or Weathered wood color.
2) Wood Soffit, Fascia, and Siding Repair
a) Remove damaged soffit, fascia and siding pieces and replace with wood boards of same
dimension, shape and profile
b) If any clapboards are rotted they be replaced with 2 inch cedar lap siding or with the same type
of material that the current clapboards are made from. If the damage is minimal the wood may
be repaired with a consolidant. There may be additional cost if the siding is cedar..
c) Caulk, prime, and paint.
