Dear Brian:
Please find enclosed our application for a Certificate of Apprcpdateness to install
exte or stolm windows on the Arsenal Building in MacArthur Park. The museum is
currently undertaking renovation ofthe building's porches, which will include fresh paint
on all exte or surfaces, including the windows. lnstallation of storm windows next year
will protect both the paint aod the historic wood of the windows. Since the building is
covered by a fagade easement, I am working with Paul Porter to obtain a letter of
approval from the Arkansas Historic Preservation Progmm. The City will apply for a
Historic Preservation RestoBtion Gmnt in 2018 to fund the project. Please feel free to
