Brian,
I am writing to say I am delighted with the proposed renovations for 1101 E 11th St. The alley
side of the property has long been a favorite spot of street folks and it will be a real boost for the
neighborhood to have the building occupied.
It is an impressive, well thought out presentation. Restoration of the brick and coping will look
great. Staff makes a good point about the main entrance doors. Perhaps a treatment more like a
traditional commercial store front entrance of the period would be in keeping.
The project has my full support and I hope to see work start soon. It’s going to look wonderful.
