December 8th filing deadline for a January 8, 2018 public hearing. With approval that evening, you could start your
building permit process on the 9th or 10th of January. You may have to go through commercial plans review since this is
half commercial and half residential. Curtis or Mark, our plans examiners, will make that call.
This is based on complete drawings and all submittals and notifications done on time. If you are sure you will be filing an
application with us, go ahead and start the abstract company on getting the addresses for property owners within 150
feet and any additional property owners in that block that were not previously listed. Please wait on mailing the notices
until you have filed the application and reviewed the procedures with me.

Given our intent to submit on December 8th, what is the typical timeline to receive a Certificate of Appropriateness
(once approved) before we can apply for a building permit?
