BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas met in a reconvened session
with Mayor Dailey presiding. The purpose of the Reconvened Meeting was for the
annual evaluation of the City Manager. City Clerk, Nancy Wood called the roll with the
following Directors Present: Pugh, Vice Mayor Hinton, Keck, Stewart, Adcock, Hurst,
Wyrick, Cazort, Kumpuris and Mayor Dailey.
Director Keck made a motion to go into executive session for the purpose of the City
Manager's evaluation; Director Cazort seconded the motion, and by unanimous voice
vote of the Board members present, the meeting was recessed at 5:30 PM. (The Agenda
Meeting for January 27, 2004 was held from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM). The meeting
reconvened at 6:40 PM.
Mayor Dailey called the meeting back in session, and announced that the Board had been
in executive session for the purpose of Mr. Bruce Moore, City Manager's annual
evaluation. Mayor Dailey announced that Mr. Moore's evaluation was good, and that the
Board was very pleased with his performance, and that the Board had increased Mr.
Moore's salary to $140,000 per year. Mayor Daily stated that Mr. Moore had been hired
at a lower salary range than the previous City Manager, and had been directed by the
Board to attend the educational component for City Managers at Harvard University,
which Mr. Moore has completed. Mayor Dailey stated that according to the salary survey
conducted by the Human Resources Department, that City Managers in other cities the
size of Little Rock were in a higher range than Mr. Moore's and felt his salary should be
brought up to a comparable salary range.
Director Cazort made the motion, seconded by Director Keck to adjourn. By unanimous
voice vote of the Board members present the meeting was adjourned at 6:40 PM.
