I believe this is what we are doing, I will forward this to Ed Garland to verify with him. I can read this into the minutes so that it is on the record and have Ed Garland speak to this in the hearing so that everybody is clear on this issue. Brian From: Weldon, Debra Sent: Wednesday, June 06, 2018 9:29 PM To: Minyard, Brian Subject: RE: your agenda for next week Brian, The Historic District Commission cannot authorize the demolition of someone’s property without the property owner’s permission. Please clarify that the demolition COA item is actually a preliminary requirement for an abatement action by the City. Since this is not the property owner’s request for a demolition, approval of the COA must be contingent on the Little Rock Board of Directors’ approval of an ordinance to condemn the structure for demolition and removal.
