We do not know if there is inadequate notice yet. We will know next Monday. I emailed him again this morning.

Brian, based on this information I assume you’ll recommend that the HDC defer it. The Commission has to make the
decision, there’s nothing in the bylaws that allows staff or anyone else to defer. But since there’s inadequate notice I’m
sure the HDC will defer it. The next question is how long is Page going to put this off? Thanks for keeping me informed,
Sherri

I sent this email to Page on Monday the 23rd and called him on July 26th at 3:55 and have not heard from him. This is
what he gave me and was on my desk when I returned July 23rd. See post-it on the letter. He verbally told our
receptionist that he was not going to be there and she wrote the note. If I do not get the certified mail receipts next
Monday, we definitely will defer because of lack of proper notification.
Please advise on how to proceed.

Brian, it would be great if Page would defer his application to the Sept. meeting. That would solve our problem and give
us time to let Engstrom write his report. Of course if he doesn’t defer, all we can do is to ask the Commission to defer it.
(The By-Laws cover this in section 8(b), p. 8.) If they won’t there’s nothing we can do. If you hear anything let me know.
We’ll talk before Aug. 13th. Hope your conference was good, Sherri

Importance: High
I received your note along with your cover letter and building materials cut sheets that you would not be available for
the August 13th HDC meeting. Your options would be to defer to the September 10th meeting or fill out the
Authorization of Representation statement to authorize someone to make decisions for you at the hearing.
Please let me know which option you would like to pursue.
