Dear Mr. Wilson,
As stated in the application packet revised 12/2/2016 that you used, your application is not
complete until a cover letter is received. The requirement for a cover letter is on page 2 under
instruction #1. Also, under instruction 2(e) on that same page, it states in bold letters:
Application must be complete at time of application.” The application includes what points
should be addressed in the cover letter.
Your application for Exterior Siding, at 1001 McMath Avenue will be heard before the Historic
District Commission on August 13, 2018 pending compliance with this letter. (Your application
erroneously noted August 3, 2018 as the hearing date.) The hearing will be held in the Board
Room at City Hall at 500 West Markham on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 5:00
p.m.
Your application will be item One on the agenda. You or your agent must be present in order
for the item to be heard.
The application states that “A description of materials for all exterior surfaces listed above shall
be provided to Staff in the application packet. Web site addresses are appropriate but cut
sheets of individual materials are preferred.” The following information will need to be submitted
to Staff by July 23, 2018 to complete your submittals for the filing.
Walls: Please state manufacturer and model number of siding, its orientation and finish.

information requested above in a complete manner before 5:00 pm July 23, 2018 will result in a
Staff recommendation of Deferral on this application.
