Dear Counsel:
Please recall that Judge Piazza remanded this matter to the Historic District Commission and ordered Plaintiffs to submit
a new application to the Commission for a Certificate of Appropriateness for 1001 McMath Avenue, Little Rock. To date
Plaintiffs have not done so. The Order, entered October 4, 2017, states:
Plaintiffs shall, within a reasonable time from the entry of this order, submit a new application to the
Commission for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the Project (“New Application”).
A copy of the Order is enclosed for your convenience.
It has been over five months since entry of order. This is more than a reasonable amount of time. Please inform you
clients that it will be necessary for them to file an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness. The application forms
and the Commission’s Meeting Calendar are available at https://www.littlerock.gov/for-businesses/planning-and-
development/. Please contact me about this matter at your earliest convenience.
Yours,
Sherri L. Latimer
