Repoint mortar joints with period correct mortar and point style. Use Type N mortar with joint to match existing. c) Regrade soil away from foundation walls. 2) Fencing Repair/Replace. a) Repair gate and fencing in front on the northeast corner of house. b) Wooded replacement boards to be same size, material and shape as existing. c) Do not demolish, remove or reposition any fencing from the property that is visible from Rock Street. This will require a Certificate of Appropriateness COA from the Commission with a public hearing. 3) Porch repair a) Porch Floor Repair i) Remove rotted porch flooring and replace with tongue and groove decking. ii) Replace any rotted or damaged porch support floor joists. b) Porch roof repair i) Level porch roof. c) Porch Support Repair i) Remove and replace porch support columns on south facing porch with column of same size, profile and material as existing. 4) Roofing a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing and/or additional layers of roofing materials. b) Repair decking with boards of same thickness, (plywood, chipboard, or 1 x boards for decking.) c) Drip edge may be installed. Paint exposed edge to match fascia. d) Gutters may be removed and replaced if necessary for roof installation. e) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys. f) Reroof with architectural shingles 5) Wood Soffit and Fascia Repair a) Remove damaged soffit and fascia pieces and replace with wood boards of same dimension, shape and profile. b) Caulk, prime, and paint. 6) Wood Siding Facade Repair on House and accessory buidings a) Trim Boards and Siding Repair Page 1 of 2 i) Remove damaged trim boards and siding pieces and replace with boards of same dimension, shape and profile. Repaint entire house. ii) Caulk, prime, and paint. 7) Fencing and handicap Ramp a) Remove handicap ramp from front of house. 8) Heating and Air system a) Repair or replace second floor unit with unit in same location as existing.
