Scope of Work –Dwelling & Garage Roofs:
• Remove existing 3-tab, 25-year composition shingles, felt, and all roof accessories
down to bare plywood roof deck. -1 layer
• Inspect all plywood sheathing on roof for any damaged/ rotted wood.
• Replace any/ all damaged plywood sheathing. **Proposal includes up to (4) sheets of 7/16”
OSB sheathing at no additional cost to customer. Any additional plywood replacement will be performed at a
rate of $50 per sheet.
• Inspect all sidewall & headwall flashings. Repair/replace standard sidewall
flashings as needed. *If new custom flashings are needed, additional costs will apply.
• Install new 30-pound synthetic felt over entire roofing area, secured with button-
cap staples.
• Install self-adhering ice/water shield underlayment in all valleys, along sidewalls,
over low-slope (4/12 pitch or less) areas, and over other vulnerable areas.
• Install 550 feet of pre-finished aluminum drip edge metal on roof rakes & eaves.
• Install 550 feet of CertainTeed High-Performance starter course around the entire
perimeter of the roof (rakes & eaves).
• Install 55 SQUARES of CertainTeed Grand Manor Lifetime designer composition
shingles per manufacturer’s specifications. Color: TBD **NOTE: This estimate is
for installation of the Grand Manor shingles in combination with an equal or lesser valued
shingle to create a custom pattern/ design.
• Detach & Reset 350 feet of existing metal hip & ridge caps.
• Install all new plumbing vent pipe aluminum flashings with neoprene boots.
• Secure and seal all flashings, pipes, vents, and all other items necessary.
• Paint all pipes, HVAC vents, and flashings to blend in and match roof.
• Clean-up and remove all debris from job site.
• Inspect job site and remove all loose nails using magnets.
• 5-year labor warranty
o Total Investment for Roof: $28,500.00
* Option: Install CertainTeed Shangle Ridge (in lieu of the existing metal caps): +3,500.00
