The roof is at the end of its life. Leaks are appearing inside the house at the
chimney flashings.

The paint is failing on the rear wall of the house, the front steps, the front porch
floor and the back steps.

Describe existing feature and its condition:
The gilding on the interior fluted columns and brickabrack was not completed
when Hanger House was restored about 30 years ago.
The upstairs rooms feature a dark wallpaper and sky wallpaper ceiling in two
rooms. One room is painted peptobismal pink.
One room has wall to wall carpet installed.

The bathroom has a linoleum floor.
The sink plumbing leaks, preventing the use of the sink in one bathroom.

Describe work and impact on existing feature:
The existing roof will be torn off. The decking will be assessed for deterioration
and repaired at- replaced as needed. New felt paper will be applied followed by new
shingles in file some potters as the existing shingles.
A new roof ormrment will be fabricated from ri to match the other gable scrolls
and will be installed on the uppermost gable.
The owner has consulted Paul Pat let with the easement program and received
approval.

These areas will be scrapped, Printed and printed with two coats of paint.

The gilding will be finished on the existing woodwork to match rhe existing gilding.
The wall and ceiling papers will be removed. The walls and ceilings will be
repaired as needed, primed and printed. '%"-
The carpet will be removed and either new carpel will be installed or the wood
floors will be repaired or new wood floors will be installed to match the existing
woodfloors in the other bedrooms. Plywood is under the carpet and pad and it is
unknown what is under the plywood.

The linoleum will be removed and a acv the floor will be installed in the bathroom.
The sink plumbing will be repaired with new water lines so the sink can be used.

The wall paper will be retired. Ifo mulch can be found it may he net ther repaired.

The chimney flues will be topped with a gat metal clip, not visible g -on, the street,
to keep hilts out of the flu and in the house.
