Subject: Railing Request for Front Step of Poe Travel
Dear Brian,
As per our phone conversation, Poe Travel, located at 915 Cumberland Street, is requesting to place a post or small free-
standing rail at the concrete step off the sidewalk going up to the brick walk (North Building 913). This is for the safety of
our employees and guests to be able to safely step up to our front walk. We would like for it to be on both sides of the
step so that it assists both coming and going.
In addition, we would like a rail going from the front porch, on both sides of the steps (4 brick steps), to the brick walk
on the south building (915). Again, for the same safety reason of guests and employees coming and going.
Thank you for your consideration on this matter. We would like to be able to resolve this without having to go to the
Commission for approval.
