On the items for demolition, it was decided between Jamie, Walter and I to hear the items and then base our
recommendation on the outcome of the public input and if the owner shows up. 1414 Park has said she will be there, I
have still not heard from 1419 Commerce.
Our plan thus far is to offer a recommendation of deferral of six months for the owner to either: renovate (to your
prescreening standards on the 90 day bring to code permit), list to sell with a real estate company, or donate to the
Landbank with the Landbank only taking it to sell (the city will not renovate but board an secure and not sure how we
will get that money out of the new owner). If after six months of no action, we will recommend demolition.
Of course, the commission will need to approve the deferral motion.
