PO Box 45663 Little Rock, Arkansas 72214-5663 Dear Ms. Harville, On December 10, 2018, an item was heard at the Little Rock Historic District Commission that concerned the property at 1419 S Commerce Street. The item was filed by the City of Little Rock Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department. In that meeting, the approved motion was to “defer for six months in order for the owner to either: 1) list the property for sale, 2) donate it to the Landbank or 3) start the rehabilitation process”. Since the hearing date in December of last year, I have not had any communication with you as to any action to fulfill the motion that was approved by the Historic District Commission. This item will be forwarded to the Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department to review for possible condemnation and demolition. This application HDC18-031 for Demolition, at 1414 Park Lane will be heard before the Historic District Commission on June 10, 2019. The hearing will be held in the Board Room at City Hall at 500 West Markham on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. Your amendment will be item “B” on the agenda. You are recommended to attend the meeting.
