Ed and Rick,
1414 Rock – Lighthouse Inc.
Rick and I met at the house on Halloween. I have since spoken with a Jennifer Battles, 650-3427, that is affiliated with
Lighthouse Inc but is not on the governing committee. Since she was not on that governing committee, I told her that I
wanted to start a conversation with them about what they were going to do with the house. She said that I should get a
call on Monday, but I am skeptical. They were going to rehab it ”right before it burned”. I will give her a call back on
Tuesday if I have not heard from another church member on Monday. I did not give them the news of the application
for demolition. I will bring that up when I speak with someone in charge. I do have a buyer lined up, but he does not
want to quibble with them on price. I think it is a desirable location with 2 new houses under construction and another
two rehabbed all within a block of this house.
Please give me an update on these structures
2200 Battery - Raymond Frazier
I have a buyer on this house that is a rehabber. She has a couple of projects right now, but by the time it is available for
her, it should be the right time.
1419 Commence Cleveland Thomas
Did you get my email 10/4/17 with a different address and did that address pan out? I also have a buyer for that one
that is ready to go on the rehab.

Can you tell me exactly what our game plan is for these two (Battery and Commerce)? Are we foreclosing on the
outstanding liens for boarding and securing and mowing lawns? How is that going? What are the steps and where are
we on them?
Walter, my boss, was asking about the demolition by neglect project at the Preservation Implementation committee in
conjunction with our goals and work tasks for calendar year 2018. Demo by Neglect was on it for 2017 and since we
have gone down a different road for now, he was wanting to know if we could call our demo by neglect project closed or
just suspended for a while.
Which brings me to 920 CE 9th – Thomas Wyatt. I get calls every so often on this property. The owner is in China, but he
has a local agent, Betty Fletcher, that arranges for the grass to be mowed. The roof is starting to gets holes in it. I have
emailed him on occasion. He wants to demolish it, but will not come to the hearing or appoint someone to attend for
him. We have historic photos of it and we have a buyer via a local real estate broker. Do we have liens on this one? Is
this one that we could repair the roof, foreclose, Landbank, and sell?
I know lots of questions. Call or email me back,
Thanks.
