Ok- I just talked to Stephanie again and she doesn't know if 1402 Commerce is one of theirs- she will call me
back when she is in the office- Cheri brought it up at our advocacy meeting the other day- looks like it has a
new roof- we thought Jennifer Carman knew about the new owners but she wasn't able to come to the meeting -
so we are still following up on it- I will let you all know what I learn-

you do for our neighborhoods. I know you all have been working
to make the property owners be more accountable.
It was heartbreaking to see this house today with Code
Enforcement. Unfortunately, there are several houses that are
neglected in MacHD, and the neighborhood suffers because of the
derelict owners. People have inquired about 1414 Park Lane and
because of the nonprofit status or income restrictions quagmire, it
has made it impossible to purchase.
I know that there are laws that protects the owners, but what about
the neighbors? What about the people who want to invest? When
does the safety outweighs the historic?
