I mailed you the COC. The permit folks said they did not issue permits for exterior painting.
Thanks for checking in.

I can get you a COC tomorrow. I can us mail you the original and the copies. Your contractor will need one of the
copies when he gets a building permit.

We are not painting any brick. There is a painted parapet of plaster on three sides of the building that were
painted after our tornado that need a new coat of paint. In the same restore the painter painted the copings to
match. They originally were a ruddy clay color.

Yes, it is better to get a staff approval than to have a neighbor report you.
Do you have a quote yet? if not, please explain which portions of the building that will be painted. I can
administratively approve portions that are already painted, but not brick that has not been painted. Not that you are
saying that, but just wanted to make sure.

On the copings, on which part of the building are they located? What color are they now?

Sometime this fall or upcoming spring, I want to paint portions of our building (same existing color). And
more than half of our clay coppings were blown away in the tornado and replaced with metal coppings. I want
to paint them the color of the original color of clay. Do either of these projects require your blessing?
