Remove brick and or mortar below to allow for sloped brick to be set at angle that matches other sills on building. b) Brick will be repointed matching mortar in composition, color, strength, and joint style where mortar is missing or cracked and at window sills. Use type N mortar. 2) Wood Soffit and Fascia Repair a) Remove damaged soffit and fascia pieces and replace with pine boards so that finished dimensions match exsting. Face pine with HardiePlank smooth siding. Cover all of fascia with smooth custom aluminum panels. b) Soffits to be of smooth HardiePlank panels. c) Caulk, prime, and paint soffits. 3) Roofing a) Remove multiple layers of asphalt roofing and/or additional layers of roofing materials. b) Replace rotted rafter tails with boards of same dimensions. c) Repair decking with boards of same thickness, (plywood, chipboard, or 1x6 boards for decking.) d) Ice and water shield may be installed under roofing at eave areas. e) Drip edge may be installed. Paint exposed edge to match fascia. f) Gutters may be removed and replaced if necessary for roof installation. g) No changes will be made to the roof pitches, gables, or valleys. h) Reroof with three tab shingles.
