8. Brief Project Description: This application is to construct a storage shed in the back yard of 407 E.
10th Street which will be visible for 10th Street. The simple shed roof design is appropriate for the period
of construction of the house and the district.
• The foundation will be concrete.
• The roof will be corrugated metal.
• The siding will be board and batten in a rhythm to be determined and will be painted to match
the house — Intellectual Gray with Dover White trim. The applicant requests permission to use a
cement material such as Hardie Board for the siding. The batons will be wood.
• The door and window (which face West are not visible from the street) will be wood or metal —
please advise.
