Arkansas Arts Council Conservation Easement Project Review
Arkansas Natural
Historic Resource Number PU2898
Heritage Commission
Dear Ms. McSwain:
Arkansas State Archives
This letter is in response to the proposed project plans submitted to the
Delia cultural center Arkansas Historic Preservation Program (AHPP) for our review. As you
are aware, AHPP holds a Deed of Conservation Easement on this
property and we are required to review and approve any alterations
Historic Arkansas Museum that affect the exterior appearance of the building and property
grounds.
Mosaic Templars
Cultural Center We have reviewed the proposed storage shed construction plans and
the low profile Allied storm window installation plans you submitted.
Old state House Museum AHPP staff members have determined that the proposed work meets
the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. The design of
the storage shed complements the architecture of the main house, and
the storm windows proposed are the same variety as what is on the
g Old State House in downtown Little Rock. We have no outstanding
concerns and approve of the work plans submitted. For phased
ARKANSAS HISTORIC projects, plans for each phase of the project need to be submitted to
PRESERVATION PROGRAM our office for review and approval.
