Re: Land Use Plan Amendment

Thank you for your interest in the recent Planning Commission actions on Pine
Mountain Road. We received your email request for a Land Use Plan
Amendment for that area.
We are looking at the following process for this item. 1) We will research what
was done on the east end of the city and see how and if is can be applied that to
the area on Pine Mountain. 2) We will research all of the recorded property
owners in the area. 3) We will contact each owner and ask for their comments
on any proposed changes. 4) After receiving the comments from the property
owners, Staff will review the comments and any issues this raises. 5) Staff will
discuss the possible amendment with the Plans Committee, a subcommittee of
the Planning Commission. 6) Any public hearings on a possible change will
occur only after these reviews.
