Dear Mr. Moses,
The Little Rock Historic District Commission has reviewed HDC18-021 at the January
14, 2019 meeting. The Little Rock Historic District Commission has denied your
Certificate of Appropriateness for the Fence. The final vote was 1 aye, 5 noes, and 1
absent.
From a staff point of view, three are three options that would make the fence in
compliance with the approved COA. 1) The fence could be modified to be 36” tall
(cutting, welding, etc.), 2) a new 36” fence could be installed of that same model, or 3)
the existing fence could be taken down and not replaced. If it was not replaced, it would
be the same as if it the COA was not acted upon. Please do one of the three options
above as soon as possible.
