Dear Mr. Moses,
Your application HDC18-021 for Fence, at 401 E Capitol Avenue will be heard before the
Historic District Commission on December 10, 2018. The hearing will be held in the Board
Room at City Hall at 500 West Markham on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 5:00
p.m.
Your application will be item One on the agenda. You or your agent must be present in order
for the item to be heard.
Please follow directions exactly when giving ten days’ notice to all property owners as stated in
the application on page 3 instructions #4 and #5. Use “HDC18-021” to complete your mailing
labels as shown in the instructions.
The application form states that “A description of materials for all exterior surfaces listed above
shall be provided to Staff at time of filing. Web site addresses are appropriate but cut sheets of
individual materials are preferred.” The following information will need to be submitted to Staff
by November 19, 2018 to complete your filing.
Fence: Provide a color photo of the existing fence. A digital image is preferable. Provide
manufacturer, model, and finish.
Cover letter: The application requires a cover letter to be submitted at the time of application.

information requested above in a complete manner before 5:00 pm November 19, 2018, will
result in a Staff recommendation of Deferral on this application.
