RESOLUTION NO. 12,041
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO LASITER
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR 11TH STREET (JOHNSON ST. TO
RAILROAD) STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the street reconstruction of 11th Street
(Johnson St. to Railroad), under Bid No.05 -265; and
WHEREAS, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible and
responsive bid, in the amount of Four Hundred Eighteen Thousand, Nine Hundred
Thirty -Four and 45/100 Dollars ($418,934.45) ($380,849.50 plus 10% contingencies).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
Lasiter Construction, Inc. for street reconstruction of 11th Street (Johnson St. to
Railroad), under Bid No.05 -265, in the amount of Four Hundred Eighteen Thousand,
Nine Hundred Thirty -Four and 45/100 Dollars ($418,934.45) ($380,849.50 plus 10%
contingencies).
Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds for this project are available in 314 - 220 -SR01.
Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its adoption.
