HomeMy WebLinkAbout15196 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,196 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A RENWAL CONTRACT WITH WATCHGUARD VIDEO, FOR 5 THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND, NINE 6 HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS ($73,920.00), PLUS APPLICABLE 7 TAXES,FOR ANNUAL SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE FOR THE LITTLE 8 ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department currently utilizes WatchGuard Video's In-Car Video 11 Systems in their vehicles and as the manufacturer of the WatchGuard Video Systems is the only vendor to 12 provide maintenance and support for their products; and, 13 WHEREAS,the total cost for an annual renewal contract with WatchGuard Video to provide software 14 maintenance, evidence library and redactive software is Seventy-Three Thousand, Nine Hundred Twenty 15 Dollars($73,920.00),plus applicable taxes; and, 16 WHEREAS,funding for coverage from March 13, 2020, through March 12, 2021, is allocated in the 17 Little Rock Police Department Administrative Division Budget, Software/Hardware Recurring 18 Maintenance Account No. 105201-61350; 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an annual renewal contract with WatchGuard 22 Video for the software and hardware maintenance, evidence library and redactive software support of the 23 Little Rock Police Department's In-Car Video Systems in their vehicles. 24 Section 2. Funding of Seventy-Three Thousand, Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars ($73,920.00), plus 25 applicable taxes,for the renewal term of March 13,2020,through March 12,2021,is available in the Little 26 Rock Police Department Administrative Division Budget, Software/Hardware Recurring Maintenance 27 Account No. 105201-61350. 28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 32 resolution. 33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with 34 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
