Home My WebLink About15195 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,195 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH NOLAND CONSTRUCTION, INC., IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR 6 THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE AND 60/100 DOLLARS 7 ($274,281.60), FOR THE OAKLAND & FRATERNAL CEMETERY 8 STREET AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the Oakland & Fraternal Cemetery Improvements Project, Bid 12 No. 828; and, 13 WHEREAS, Noland Construction, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting 14 specifications. 15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Noland Construction, 18 Inc.,for the Oakland&Fraternal Cemetery Street and Drainage Improvements, in an amount not to exceed 19 Two Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand,Two Hundred Eighty-One and 60/100 dollars($274,281.60),which 20 is the base bid amount of Two Hundred Twenty-Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars 21 ($228,568.00),plus 20%contingencies. 22 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the allocation for City-Wide Projects of the%-Cent Capital 23 Improvement Sales and Compensating Use Tax Funds and the 2018 Capital Improvement Bonds. 24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 28 resolution. 29 Section 4. Repealer.
