3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TIGER CORPORATION, THROUGH
5 LITTLE ROCK EQUIPMENT SALES, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO
6 EXCEED ONE HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED THREE
7 AND 40/100 DOLLARS ($101,603.40), FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
8 4X4 TRACTOR WITH SIDE AND REAR FLAIL MOWERS FOR THE
9 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION;
10 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department, Street Operations Division has a need to purchase one(1)
13 4x4 Tractor with Side and Rear Flail Mowers to replace an aged, high maintenance unit that is out-of-
14 service due to excessive maintenance costs and down-time; and,
15 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through utilization of Sourcewell Contract No. 052417-
16 TGR.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Tiger Corporation, through
20 Little Rock Equipment Sales,for the purchase of one(1)4x4 Tractor with Side and Rear Flail Mowers for
21 a total amount not to exceed One Hundred One Thousand, Six Hundred Three and 40/100 Dollars
22 ($101,603.40), plus applicable taxes and fees.
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2020 Public Works Replacement Fund Account
24 No. 205409-72300-S40B632.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
