3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ROCKDALE COUNTRY FORD, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-NINE THOUSAND, THREE
6 HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($69,340.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF
7 TWO (2) FORD F-150 PICK-UP TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
8 DEPARTMENT CIVIL ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC CONTROL
9 DIVISIONS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department has demonstrated a need to purchase two(2)Ford F-150
12 Pick-up Trucks for the Civil Engineering and Traffic Control Divisions to replace aged, high maintenance
13 units currently in the City's fleet; and,
14 WHEREAS, vendor selection for two (2) Ford F-150 Pick-up Trucks, meeting the specifications
15 needed,was made through the HGAC Contract No.VE 11-18; and,
16 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for two(2)F-150 Pick-up Trucks shall not to exceed an amount
17 of Sixty-Nine Thousand, Three Hundred Forty Dollars($69,340.00).
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Rockdale Country Ford
21 for the purchase of two(2)Ford F-150 Pick-Up Trucks, in an amount not to exceed Sixty-Nine Thousand,
22 Three Hundred Forty Dollars($69,340.00),to be used by the Public Works Department Civil Engineering
23 and Traffic Control Divisions.
24 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in 2020 Public Works Replacement Fund Account
25 No.205409-72300-S40B632.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
