3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SUMMIT TRUCK GROUP, FOR A TOTAL
5 PURCHASE PRICE OF ONE HUNDRED FORTY-TWO THOUSAND,
6 FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE AND 85/100 DOLLARS ($142,525.85),
7 FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1), TWELVE (12) CUBIC-YARD DUMP
8 TRUCK WITH AUXILIARY HYDRAULICS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
9 DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, The Public Works Department has a need for one (1), Twelve (12) Cubic-Yard Dump
13 Truck with Auxiliary Hydraulics capable of operating existing snow removal equipment for the Street
14 Operations Division to allow for the replacement of an aged, high maintenance unit currently in the City's
15 Fleet;and,
16 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through utilization of Sourcewell Contract No.081716-NVS.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Summit Truck Group for the
20 purchase of a Twelve (12) Cubic-Yard Dump Truck with Auxiliary Hydraulics capable of operating
21 existing snow removal equipment for an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty-Two Thousand, Five
22 Hundred Twenty-Five and 85/100 Dollars($142,525.85).
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the 2019 Public Works Replacement Fund Account
24 No. 205409-72300-S40B623.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
