3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN ON
4 THE MARYLAND AVENUE (CEDAR TO BROWN) STREET
5 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, attempts to acquire temporary construction easements and
8 permanent construction easements necessary for construction of the Maryland Avenue
9 (Cedar to Brown) Street Improvements Project have been unsuccessful; and
10 WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
11 of eminent domain.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete acquisition
15 of temporary construction easements and permanent construction easements for this
16 project.
17 Section 2. Funding for this property is available in account NHSP- 108 -B004.
18 Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
19 adoption.
