2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN ON
3 THE UNIVERSITY AVENUE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
4 (19th STREET TO PARK PLAZA DR.); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
5 WHEREAS, attempts to acquire some right -of -way, permanent construction
6 easements, and temporary construction easements necessary for construction of the
7 University Avenue Project (191h Street to Park Plaza Drive) have been unsuccessful; and
8 WHEREAS, efforts will continue to acquire necessary property without the use
9 of eminent domain.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 SECTION 1. The City is authorized to use eminent domain to complete
13 acquisition of right -of -way, permanent construction easements, and temporary
14 construction easements for this project.
15 SECTION 2. Funding for this property is available in accounts 215 - 220 -0645 and
16 304 - 220 -0916.

SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
