3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH GPS INSIGHT, IN A TOTAL ANNUAL
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($115,000.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF GPS SERVICES FOR
7 THE FLEET SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, The Fleet Services Department has a need to equip various units currently in the City's
10 Inventory with GPS Services; and,
11 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through utilization of Sourcewell Contract No. 022217-GPI.
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a one (1)-year contract with not more than
15 two (2) one (1)-year renewal extensions with GPS Insight for the purchase of GPS Services for a total
16 annual amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars($115,000.00),plus applicable taxes
17 and fees.
18 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Account No. 600013-63211.
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
20 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
21 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
22 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
25 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
