3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH VERMEER MID-SOUTH,FOR AN ANNUAL
5 PURCHASE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED THIRTY
6 THOUSAND DOLLARS ($130,000.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF
7 VERMEER PARTS FOR THE FLEET SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,The Fleet Services Department has a need to be equipped with reliable heavy equipment
11 parts and service tools for minor repairs and maintenance on equipment currently in the City's Fleet; and,
12 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through utilization of Sourcewell Contract No. 050119-
13 VRM.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a one (1)-year contract with not more than
17 two (2), one (1)-year renewal extensions with Vermeer Mid-South for the purchase of heavy equipment
18 parts and service tools for a total annual amount not to exceed One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
19 ($130,000.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
20 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Parts Account No. 600013-60310.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
