Home My WebLink About15172 1 RESOLUTION NO. 15,172 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP, 5 INC.,IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX 6 THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-NINE AND 10/100 DOLLARS 7 ($236,969.10), FOR THE 6TH STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT 8 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS,Bids were solicited for the 6th Street Drainage Improvements,Project No. 01-16-DR-10, 11 Bid No. 794; and, 12 WHEREAS,Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive,responsible bid meeting 13 specifications. 14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone Construction 17 Group, Inc., for the 6th Street Drainage Improvement Project in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred 18 Thirty-Six Thousand,Nine Hundred Sixty-Nine and 10/100 Dollars ($236,969.10), which is the base bid 19 amount of One Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-Four and 25/100 Dollars 20 ($197,474.25),plus 20%contingencies. 21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating 22 Use Tax Funds and the 2018 Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,803. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4.
