3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH CLARK EQUIPMENT COMPANY, D/B/A
5 BOBCAT COMPANY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-NINE
6 THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT AND 48/100 DOLLARS
7 ($59,668.48), FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) BOBCAT TRACKED
8 EXCAVATOR FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS STREET DEPARTMENT
9 OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has demonstrated a need for
12 one(1)Bobcat Tracked Excavator to replace an aged, high maintenance unit currently in the City's fleet;
13 and,
14 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through the utilization of Sourcewell,Contract No. 040319-
15 CEC;and,
16 WHEREAS, the total cost for the purchase of one (1) Bobcat Tracked Excavator is Fifty-Nine
17 Thousand, Six Hundred Sixty-Eight and 48/100 Dollars($59,668.48).
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager are authorized to enter into a Contract Agreement with Clark Equipment
21 Company, d/b/a Bobcat Company, in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Sixty-
22 Eight and 48/100 Dollars ($59,668.48), for the purchase of one (1) Bobcat Tracked Excavator to be used
23 by the Public Works Department Street Operations Division.
24 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in Public Works Replacement Fund Account No.
25 205409-72300-5406632.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
