re: LU09-05-01, Mixed Use Urban to Public Institutional
Dear Ms. Blair,
The Department of Planning and Development has been in the process of reviewing the
Land Use Plan and Zoning for the downtown area. The proposed changes are a result
of discussions and review by city staff. There is a proposal to change the Land Use
category for for nine areas of downtown from Mixed Use Urban to Public Institutional to
recognize existing public uses. A map is attached to depict these nine areas.
The change will then be taken before the Planning Commission and later to the Board
of Directors. The Planning Commission meeting is held at City Hall at 4:00 p.m. on
August 6, 2009.
