HomeMy WebLinkAboutSupport letter (2)Ms. Rose Crane Twenty Eight Lenon Drive Little Rock, Arkansas 72207 December 24, 1998 Mr. Dana Carney City of Little Rock Department of Planning and Development 723 West Markham Little Rock, Arkansas 72201-1334 Dear Mr. Carney: I am currently the President of the South Normandy Property Owner's Association and writing regarding Mary Jane Bailey's application to change the zoning of the residence located on the southeast corner of the Cantrell and University intersection to suburban office. I personally support the change from residential to suburban office zoning. The previous owners of the property have leased the residence. As can be the case with rental property, the occupants did not properly maintain the house or its yard. The city and the neighboring properties would benefit from this property being owner occupied. can not imagine it as a suitable residence due to the high traffic at this intersection and the fact that the existing structure is located only a few feet from Cantrell. Therefore, I believe that this property is best suitable for suburban office zoning. Sincerely, Rose Crane
