Staff Recommendation: This application was submitted for the purpose of obtaining a conforming classification for all the properties involved. In th past, the City limits divided the ownerships in this area and after annexation, some of the parcels were not rezoned. A sizable portion of this tract is zoned "A" and is occupied by a drive-in theatre and pasture. This request was accompanied by a subdivision plat which con- tained several problem areas such as access, ownership inclusion, etc. The Subdivision Committee is recommending that the plat be resubmitted for the next meeting after dealing with those problems. This rezoning request for Tract 3 is for the purpose of con- structing warehouse buildings. The staff feels there are questions to be resolved before com- mitting industrial zoning in this isolated location. We would recommend deferral until such time as the plat issue is resolved. - 10 - h4'eXd X30 77 e .4 a,/ 3-29-77 Item No. 9 - NEW MATTERS - Rcza-:a.ng_ Case Number: Z-3121 Applicant: united Artists Theatre Circuit, Inc. by Ronnie D.
