This would assure us that not only would any possibly un- sightly areas be screened from our playground, but also provide a solid fence for the protection of our children from automobiles, machinery, and other potential hazards of the area. At the Present tirne there is a large drainage pipe installed by the highway department which runs from Asher Avenue across our property and empties into a ditch which crosses the property in question. I would like assurance that the plans for construction do not impede this drainage plan. If these two concerns can be dealt with, I would have no objection to the zoning variance being granted. Since it may not be possible for me to attend the May 22 hearing, I would appreciate having this statement included in the record. Sincerely, EDUC r . TE'RS , INC. loyd S huh, Jr.r.
