PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: THE PLANNING COMMISSION
VOTED ON A MOTION TO DEFER THE MATTER AS RECOMMENDED BY THE
STAFF. THE MOTION PASSED BY A VOTE OF (9 ayes - 0 noes -
2 unfilled positions).
Staff Recommendation: This application is a continuation of
the spot And strip zoning patterns along Asher Ave. The
property in question is approximately 3 blocks east of the
boundary of the zoning study on this agenda dealing with
West 46th and Asher Ave.
The staff feels that the results of that study affect this
property to the extent that we would recommend deferral of
this request to the April 26th meeting.
There were no objectors present and no letters of objection.
The petitioner was present and stated that he was willing to
accept a deferral to the April 26th meeting.
(Editor's note: This applicant has provided for the record a
commitment to dedicate the required additional right-of-way on
Asher Ave. This commitment is in the form of an easement deed
which is filed in escrow at an abstract company.)
