Markham from B Residence to C Two Family Dear Sir, I am not able to attend the meeting on the above rezoning request which is to be held on August 3, 19729 but I did want my opinions to be entered into consideration. Our neighborhood now consists, with one exception, of single family, owner occupied homes. The homes are well kept and display an obvious interest in the property by the occupant. The one exception is at 120 Crystal Court, which for years has been a two family rental unit. The difference in the condition of the property is obvious to even the casual observer. The grass is never out, the cars are parked in the lawn or any other convenient manner, the property is never painted, oil and beer cans usually litter the lawn, tire rubber is laid in the street from drag starts at all hours of the night, and on and on! It is just what one can expect from the two family, non owner occupied home. The persons requesting the rezoning state thatihey will occupy one of the units, and well they might - for a while. There is nothing in the zoning that would require it, and it would not be long before 3318 W. Markham is just another 120 Crystal Court. My property represents years and years of investment on my part, both from the standpoint of money and labor.
