pplication is hereby made to the Little Rock Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas,
through the Planning Commission pursuant to Arkansas law on City Planning, Act 186 of 1957,
Acts of Arkansas and Section 23 of the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance No. 5420 as amended,
petitioning for a rezoning of the following described area:

The Staff recommended approval of this application. Mr. E. Ray Stalnaker, the
applicant, was present.
Mr. Fred .Hatcher, 6702 Big Oak Lane, was present saying that his property is
adjacent to subject property, and that there are no homes west to Geyer Springs
Road. In answer to a question about the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company's
property on the west, Mr. Venhaus said they would construct a facility on
that location, and had received approval from the Board of Adjustment to do
so. They do not need the property rezoned to locate.
Mr. Stalnaker said he asked for "I" Industrial instead of "F" -Commercial zoning
as it would give him more leeway should some interested party desire the property.
He indicated that he would not conpid'er "F" -Commercial zoning.
A motion was made for approval of the application, which was seconded and passed.
