3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH A STICH OF CLASS, IN THE
5 APPROXIMATE AMOUNT OF SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($70,000.00), FOR THE PURCHASE OF EMPLOYEE UNIFORMS FOR
7 THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City advertised formal Bid No. 429 to solicit proposals for an annual contract for
10 employee uniforms for the Public Works Department,and the lowest responsive bid received was from A
11 Stitch of Class.
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with A Stitch of Class as primary
15 vendor in an approximate amount of Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00) per year for contract
16 purchases of Uniforms for the Public Works Department.
17 Section 2. This contract shall be for one(1)-year from the date of the award,with the provision that it
18 may be extended yearly for two(2)additional years upon mutual agreement of both parties.
19 Section 3. Funds for this agreement are available in Accounts, 204003-60030; 204008-60030
20 (Operations Accounts)Solid Waste;Civil&Traffic Engineering and Building Services Accounts.
21 Section 4. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid
22 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
23 resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
24 unconstitutional were not originally a part of this resolution.
25 Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions,and parts thereof, which are in conflict with any
26 provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
