3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH POSITIVE RESULTS LAWN SERVICE,INC.,
5 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE
6 THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($123,984.00),
7 FOR THE MARYLAND AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,Bids were solicited for improvements for the Maryland Avenue Reconstruction Project,
11 Project No. 02-17-ST-83, Bid No. 619;and,
12 WHEREAS,Positive Results Lawn Service, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with,Positive Results Lawn
17 Service, Inc., for the Maryland Avenue Reconstruction Project, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred
18 Twenty-Three Thousand,Nine Hundred Eighty-Four Dollars($123,984.00),which is the base bid amount
19 of One Hundred Three Thousand,Three Hundred Twenty Dollars($103,320.00),plus 20%contingencies.
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
21 Use Tax Funds and the 2018 Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by Resolution No. 14,803.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
